Description Thomas 2014-12-25 23:56:19 UTC
Menus only show up as underscores in full screen mode. When reducing the window size, the menu names show up after moving the window. However, they disappear when the mouse scrolls over the menu name. The names of the items in the menu only appear as underscores. The popup names for icons on the menu bar also do not appear.

I have tried the following in an effort to resolve the problem.

Changed the application font and font size
Changed the resolution
Uninstalled LibreOffice
Installed a different version 4.3.5 I believe.
Uninstalled version 4.3.5.
Reinstalled version 4.0.4.2 (Build ID:4.0.4.2-14-el6)

What is interesting is that when I take a screenshot, the menus and the items in the menu appear in the screenshot.

Did 4.3.5 work?

> Uninstalled version 4.3.5.

4.0.4.2 as provided by TDF is EOL a year ago:

Can you reproduce the problem with a modern build such as 4.3.5?

Status -> NEEDINFO

(please change the status back to UNCONFIRMED after you test with a modern build)
