With cairo 1.12.16, gnome-session fails to start up on ubuntu14.04. It works on fedora 19. With latest cairo master commit 4a225fca5f121c31ddaa0af80a13b, gnome-session works on ubuntu14.04.

The issue doesn't happen on latest verions 1.14.2, so close this bug.
