Just to be sure, you confirmed you read these: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87851#c2 +fdo#86218 I downloaded again the file and it runs ok. Thanks for the tip. @Ian, As indicated on the linked bugs https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86218#c3 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87851#c2 Verify the HASH value of the downloaded installer. If it checks correct, and you are still having the installation error 1335, post back. I am sorry that I am not computer literate enough to know what this statement means, let alone how to do it. Verify the HASH value of the downloaded installer.andhenry2@gmail.com @Ian, *, You will need a Windows utility program to calculate a HASH value for the downloaded install package, Microsoft does not provide one. There are hundreds, but my preferred tool--Febooti Hash-an-CRC is linked from an earlier bug report on the same issue. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86218#c3 Download and install it, or find something similar at twocows or majorgeeks. Then, if you look at the image https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=109428 it shows where on the LibreOffice download page you can obtain the HASH value to compare your downloads against. It really is pretty simple in practice, and will save a lot of aggravation by verifying a complete download prior to trying to install any program, not just LibreOffice. It is also a good safe computing habit to pick up because if the HASH values match you gain some assurance that the program is the intended program from a developer you trust--and is less likely to contain malware. |
