original text, without comment

As of LibreOffice version 4.1 it is possible to add a comment to a text range. However, if I save the file as MS Word 97/2000/XP/2004 (doc) the formatting is severely damaged after saving and reopening. In particular text that had italics and/or super- and subscripted text.

This is the text with a text range. As can be seen: super- en subscripts are messed up, as is the italicised text.

text with comment NOT attached to a text range

When not attaching a comment to a text range, formatting is preserved.

(Sorry, pressed enter too soon)

A similar problem occurs when opening MS Word files (doc format, edited with original MS Office). If in such a file a comment is attached to a text range, the formatting is changes. Most often the last character in the text range will get a smaller, and different font. I am not able to reproduce this, because I have not got MS Office.

Could not reproduce using the original and inserting comment. Please try with version 4.3.x.
