Error Message pops up on opening existing spreadsheets

"Not all attributes could be read". Press OK and the spreadsheet loads with no apparent problems, and amendments save OK.

Running Kubuntu 14.04

Problem first occured after recent update (Kernel was updated to 3.13.0-44) &
nvidia update.

Several other problems have since occured :

"onboard" no longer loads, nor do the onboard settings.

I cannot save a new LibreOffice Writer document. It produces and "Error saving Document General Error"
