pulseaudio 5.99.3 also crashes when started as a daemon but the backtrace is completely different. I've tried to see what a debugger (lldb) could teach me, but quick attempts to follow execution beyond the fork were not fruitful. Created attachment 113122 [details]

Created attachment 113099 [details] crash log Starting pulseaudio in the normal, daemonising way causes it to crash on OS X 10.9.5, built through the MacPorts port. This does not happen when starting it without any options, or with -C.
