Kernel log.

Ubuntu 14.04.2 with 3.19.2 mainline kernel and utopic graphics stack.

I had been plugging my Acer C720 into monitor already couple times during the day before this happened. Connected laptop to monitor again. Gave xrandr command to turn on hdmi and turn off lcd. X restarted. Realized later on that there were traces in kernels and X servers log.

Please update xserver-xorg-video-intel to 2.99.917
Comment 3 Petteri Markkula 2015-04-09 17:57:13 UTC
Removed utopic graphics stack and switched to xorg-edgers. No problems so far.
