Correct the bug failure symptom: Test with latest drm-intel-nightly branch: Put system into S3, resume back by clicking power button, edp display show black screen after S3 resume. This was resolved on eywa kernel tree ,but still exist on the drm-intel-nightly branch kernel. Hi Xu Bin, please add "log_buf_len=4M" to kernel parameter to get the full dmesg log. Damien, are these [1] the patches that are supposed to fix this? [1] http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/intel-gfx/2015-April/065659.html Yes, I still need to re-spin that series with the comments addressed. Created attachment 115869 [details]
dmesg with log_buf_len=4M
This should be fixed in -nightly now. Test 5 cycles S3 entry and resume on SKL-Mobile, with drm-intel-nightly branch kernel:790a30_20150522 S3 is working normally, change this bug status to verified. Closing old verified. |
