The issue here is with the bringup... the driver doesn't load, which means X doesn't see it, etc. [ 15.063868] nouveau E[ PBUS][0000:01:00.0] MMIO write of 0x00000004 FAULT at 0x620018 [ IBUS ] [ 15.149993] nouveau E[ PBUS][0000:01:00.0] MMIO read of 0x00000000 FAULT at 0x500c30 [ IBUS ] Not sure if those are (semi-)expected. mmiotrace sent to mmio.dumps@gmail.com Please try (a) 4.3-rc6 kernel, (b) 4.3-rc6 kernel booted with nouveau.config=War00C800_0=1 and see if either of those help. However, after using xrandr --setprovideroffloadsink nouveau Intel, running DRI_PRIME=1 glxinfo | fgrep "OpenGL vendor" still shows Intel. dmesg includes the following line: [ 21.537016] nouveau E[ PGR][0000:01:00.0] grctx template channel unload timeout Attached are Xorg.0.log, dmesg, and an mmiotrace of glxinfo running through bumblebee.
