htop screenshoot
P.S. don't know related with it, but when I launched Firefox Xwayland process begin consume ~90% CPU resources. Don't use XWayland, it is not in the least performant and frankly terrible on 915gm, and appears buggy to boot. Please file bugs against f22. Are you able to reproduce the issues without wayland? (In reply to Chris Wilson from comment #4) > Don't use XWayland, it is not in the least performant and frankly terrible > on 915gm, and appears buggy to boot. Please file bugs against f22. I reported this because want that 915gm worked under Wayland without bugs. > Are you able to reproduce the issues without wayland? On Fedora 22 Login screen that GDM uses to run on Wayland instead of X. Of course if I run GNOME session under X this problem is absent this can be seen in my video. (In reply to Chris Wilson from comment #4) > Don't use XWayland, it is not in the least performant and frankly terrible > on 915gm, and appears buggy to boot. Good advice, thanks. Anything in particular? Have you filed actual bugs? Anyway, not sure if you're aware, but Wayland is just a protocol. The implementations themselves (Mutter for GNOME) are responsible for actual display management, so the correct place to assign this bug would be to Mutter (for using the cursor plane incorrectly), or to the kernel (for i915 handling the cursor plane incorrectly; wouldn't really be the first time). (In reply to mikhail.v.gavrilov from comment #5) > I reported this because want that 915gm worked under Wayland without bugs. Thanks for the report Mikhail. Sorry for the mess here, but could you please go to bugzilla.gnome.org and report this as a bug on Mutter? Thanks. |
