its gpu from i7 6700k I think I found the problem with this black screens. I have G.Skill Ripjaws 4x4GB 3000MHz, first on this motherboard MSI Z170A M7 there was a problem with memory when I turned on XMP profile to get 3000MHz, system was crashing. When I upgraded uefi on MB, system didn't crashed anymore after turning on XMP mode, but when I turn off XMP now, black screens are not happening anymore. I wrote that it was working on windows, but it was probably with XMP turned off. Are you still experiencing black screen issues or did the turning of XMP off cure the black screen issue? (In reply to Mika Kahola from comment #3) > Are you still experiencing black screen issues or did the turning of XMP off > cure the black screen issue? yes, this problem is only when XMP is turned on. weird thing is that when I connect my monitor 2560x1440 to DP, its happening more often on other monitor that connection wasn't changed, and on DP monitor it doesn't happen anymore. Also when trying to connect different HDMI cable, it doesnt even get signal without XMP, and does work on the same cable on external GPU. But that wont be drivers problems, just problems with motherboard. All in all we could close this one as it seems that this is not related to the driver? ok, I am closing it |
