Description Timo Aaltonen 2015-09-07 11:10:50 UTC
If a HDMI display is plugged in to a SKL machine with an eDP panel, the system hangs on reboot/shutdown if the display is plugged in after the OS has loaded. This only happens with HDMI, DP & DVI are fine. There's nothing alarming in the logs, besides skl_update_other_pipe_wm warnings which has it's own bug.

Reproduced with UMSLAKSUB benchtop SDP running current nightly.

The Skylake support has been improved significantly since the bug was last changed. Closing. Please reopen if the problem persists with current drm-intel-nightly branch of http://cgit.freedesktop.org/drm-intel
