Description Colin Bennett 2006-11-30 14:59:25 UTC
I cannot get the XVideo and XShape extensions to work.
Most importantly, I need XVideo. Playing video without it is basically
worthless: very choppy.

I think I'm doing everything right, and it looks like the driver is supposed to
support XVideo.

My lspci for the video card:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R250 [Radeon
Mobility 9200] (rev 02)

I'm running Gentoo Linux on my IBM Thinkpad T41:
Linux gamma 2.6.18-gentoo-r1 #1 Thu Oct 19 14:44:34 PDT 2006 i686 Intel(R)
Pentium(R) M processor 1600MHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

I will attach my Xorg startup log and other info.

You need to load the "extmod" module.
