When I updated XQuartz, I did a usual check on all my programs that depend on it, since I use, sometimes, old versions of selected programs. One of them is IDL 7.1. When I tried to use an command that depends on X11, it says: "no matching pixel formats found, perhaps try using LIBGL_ALLOW_SOFTWARE" and the software quits after that. I know it just happened after the update of XQuartz to version 2.7.8. In newer versions of IDL (8.X) everything works fine.

Thanks,
Antonio
