Description Norbert Koch 2015-11-18 16:51:49 UTC
I tried using xf86-geode version 2.11.17 + patches for msr r/w access.
Xorg -version reports 1.17.4.
FreeBSD version is 9.1.
Chipset is Geode LX 800 cpu, pci id 0x1022:0x2081.

The X server itself seems to run without problems.
When I exit the server the screen blanks.
Starting the X server again (blindly)
turns the screen on.

X server 1.7.7 with geode driver version 2.11.14
did not have this problem.

I tried FreeBSD kernel with/without vesa module loaded
and X server with option -dpms.
It makes no difference.

Could this be related to this other bug:

Comment 3 Norbert Koch 2015-11-19 08:15:11 UTC
I don not thin that this is related
as there is no lx_enable_dac_power()
in 2.11.14 either.
Comment 4 Martin-Éric Racine 2016-05-02 13:51:13 UTC
Unless I'm mistaken, this was fixed in 2.11.18. Can you please confirm?
Comment 5 Martin-Éric Racine 2016-07-17 13:11:47 UTC
Haven't been able to reproduce the issue since 2.11.18, thus marking as FIXED.
