The problem you are having is not related to the harmless warnings
modevalidation is giving you.

Am i right that that picture is a direct screenshot, and not a photograph of
your monitors output. So this can't be directly related to monitor timing. This
is the contents of your framebuffer, which means that this can only be an
acceleration issue. This is an issue for the mga maintainer it seems.
