any news on this? Hi, how was the vm created? Are you using the latest guest tools? What do you mean by the "half resolution"? I just tried with win7 created using virt-manager. I connect using virt-viewer and change the resolution to 2560x1440 without any issues. This should be working. Please double check if you have the guest-tools [0] installed and that you have newer version of qemu, spice and virt-viewer. [0] http://www.spice-space.org/download.html Fedora 22 is a bit old.
