[ 54.807179] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[ 54.807180] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[ 54.807181] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.
[ 54.807182] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always attach it.

Comment 1 Odd Rune Lykkebø 2016-03-10 09:09:00 UTC
OK, so I tried with i915.enable_rc6=0 as a parameter to 4.4 and still got issues. Upgraded to 4.5-rc4 and with i915.enable_rc6=0 i do *not* see hangs anymore. without the parameter the problem persists.

cheers
