The /sys/class/drm/card0/error crash dump

I got a drm stuck on render ring error in an Ironlake Intel GPU (0x46).
It was caused by Xorg, running Plasma Shell.
I had recently connected a TV using a DP to HDMI adapter. The error appeared after resuming the laptop back from sleep.
The unlock screen took around 10 seconds to show, and then Plasma crashed and couldn't start again.

Attached you can find the GPU crash dump I got from /sys/class/drm/card0/error

We seem to have neglected the bug a bit, apologies.

Ismael, since There were improvements pushed in kernel & xf86-video-intel that will benefit to your system, so please re-test with latest kernel & xf86-video-intel -alternatively you may use modesetting/glamor with latest mesa version- and mark as REOPENED if you can reproduce (and attach fresh gpu error dump & kernel log) and RESOLVED/* if you cannot reproduce.

Thanks for asking Yann. I don't have that TV anymore (I moved to another country), but I just tried again with a different TV; same DP to HDMI adapter though.

It worked perfectly, no problems whatsoever. Not a single line in the kernel log. Sadly my new TV is horrible so I don't use it with the laptop, that's why I didn't realized it was fixed ;)

I'll mark this as resolved.
