Created attachment 123052 [details] dmesg and crash dump I was still experiencing a few system freezes with NVIDIA driver 349.12beta (90% sure it was related with graphics) so I updated to 361.42. It seemed ok but after a resume all the GTK-based graphics was trash (e.g. window decorations and file dialogs are not painted at all). I had a look to dmesg and I have again the "GPU HANG: ecode 8:0:0xfffffffe, in Xorg [1284], reason: Ring hung, action: reset" It happens everytime after suspend and resume. It seems ok with a fresh boot. Same problem with 364.15 beta. Kernel was updated since the first submission: Linux 4.0.0-040000rc6-generic #201503291935 SMP Sun Mar 29 23:36:50 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS
