Description kronheim 2007-01-03 07:07:50 UTC
Using kde-window-decorator with compiz 0.3.6, when maximizing a window, the few
pixels which lie at the middle of the title-bar get stretched out across the
middle. I will attach a screenshot

Screenshot of maximized Firefox window.

Notice how the left-most pixels of the letter "o" in "Firefox" are stretched
out. I am using 0.3.6 kde-window-decorator from the gandalfn repository with
the Plastik kwin theme under gnome.

Should be fixed now. Please confirm.
Comment 3 kronheim 2007-01-04 13:38:52 UTC
Yes, the drawing of the title is now correct here for maximized windows.

Maximized windows now have another problem unfortunately: a mouse-click on the
title-bar of a maximized window "goes through" to the desktop below. That is, it
is interpreted as a click on the desktop. This is a kde-window-decorator problem
which does not occur with gtk-window-decorator, and did not occur with the 0.3.6
version of kde-window-decorator. I guess I should be filing this as a new bug,
because the original bug here is indeed gone.

Sorry, the new problem mentioned in Comment #3 is not special to
kde-window-decorator, contrary to what I claimed. I have reported it separately
as Bug #9601.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
Comment 6 Danny Baumann 2007-09-25 00:53:42 UTC
As the original issue is fixed, closing.
