Description Lloeki 2007-01-10 05:53:45 UTC
gentoo bug 160693 inadvertently triggered a compiz 3.6 bug.

when started with an invalid switch (like --use-cow, now invalid for 3.6),
compiz will treat it as being a plugin, and would supposedly want to remove it
from gconf. unfortunately, another plugin is being removed instead: the first
one right after gconf in gconf active_plugins list (usually decoration). this is
done each time compiz is run, until there's only gconf in the list.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.

Invalid options no longer cause problems, marking as FIXED
