Hi, I'd like to publish a new desktop-file-utils release, but it looks like I don't have write access to /srv/www.freedesktop.org/www/software/desktop-file-utils/releases/.

Could you please set the permissions for me?

I've fixed up the file permissions so the hierarchy has write access by desktop-file-utils now.
