Description Sadysta 2007-01-28 01:10:32 UTC
I don't want to stop the whole X server because I don't want my KDE session to die. If nobody can take this request I'd be thankful if someone should point me where to start patching myself.

I need this functionality because ATI driver causes ooopses and hardlocks when I try to put system to hibernation state.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.

We're not going to be implementing unloading of video drivers at runtime any time soon.
