Description Thomas Sondergaard 2016-10-20 12:06:33 UTC
When I resize my qemu/kvm window with my VM running CentOS 7 with Xorg QXL driver the resolution in the guest X server changes nicely, but the physical monitor dimensions are not updated. This makes the DPI as reported by e.g. xdpyinfo wrong and DPI-aware applications end up looking very bad.

When the screen size is changed the DPI should be updated too.

This has been vaguely discussed in the past, but gdk/gtk support wasn't really ready. At this point, I hope it can be done in a portable manner.

Since this will require changes in multiple components (protocol, agent, driver etc), moving to RFE
