upower log

Device: Lenovo L450 laptop
System: Debian stretch (testing), using MATE 1.16 desktop
upower version: 0.99.4-4 (Debian)

While charging the battery, often I'll see a pop-up message 'discharging', but when I look at the status bar icon it is actually still charging.

I collected a log (upower --monitor-detail) to see what actually happens. It appears that it says the battery is discharging for 1-2 seconds, and then charging again.

It's unlikely this is a problem with the cable, as it happens at random moments (not when e.g. moving the laptop). Nothing special appears to trigger it. But it could of course be some other hardware issue.
