People with other VGAs also experience Xorg server crashes since 1.19.1 including myself (nVidia here). The login manager SDDM if present also crashes since the same Xorg update. This bug is not about Intel. See threads at Arch forums for people with nVidia cards crashing in the same manner: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=221871 https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=221958 Xorg upstream only released 1.19.1 - if you have 1.19.1-1 then you have a distro-specific version. (In reply to Storm Engineer from comment #1) > See threads at Arch forums for people with nVidia cards crashing in the same > manner: > https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=221871 > https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=221958 I skimmed these for evidence supporting that they're about the same problem as in this report, but couldn't find any. Until there is such evidence, it's better to assume that there are multiple separate problems and track them separately. |
