I opened another bug on this ages ago, but it was old code. Novell gave me a work around which wasn't considered a very good fix by the Cairo developers. We are trying to now deploy and Cairo 1.2.4 is crashing and we are unable to run any GNOME software. It's reporting: Error: Cairo does not yet support the requested image format: Depth: 16 Alpha mask: 0x00000000 Red mask: 0x00007c00 Green mask: 0x000003e0 Blue mask: 0x0000001f Please file an enhacement request (quoting the above) at: Platform is OpenSuse 10.2, patched with latest sub-release.
