Description Urmas 2014-10-26 21:26:51 UTC
When attempting to update an administrative installation of LO master, an error occurs.

Error 1310.Error writing to file: <DIR>\program\so_activex.dll. System error 0. Verify that you have access to that directory.

If the entire 'program' directory is removed prior to updating, internal error 2349 occurs.

@Urmas,

How are you attempting to do this? Have you obtained or generated a .msp patch with transforms to the .msi installer package? Those are not rolled by TDF or any of the TBs.

See this MS KB for some description of what has to happen in patching an Administrative install

If simply using a newer .msi package and rerunning the /A install into the same TARGETDIR it will overwrite the earlier install. Of course creation/modified date stamps will end up mixed. Of course the installer does need to be complete (would be nice if there were hash values--MD5 or SHA256--available to verify download via the TB mechanism).
