Problem description: When linking Calc data by referencing other documents using =’file:///Path & File Name’#$SheetName.CellName , sometimes (not always!) the link only works if the linked file is open. The link is then lost when the linked file is closed, and a #N/A error is shown in the cell with the link. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a file with numerical/text/time values. 2. Create a second file with references to the values in the first file (=’file:///Path & File Name’#$SheetName.CellName) 3. Close the first file and check the links in the second file. Current behavior: Some links give an #N/A error when the linked file is closed. Expected behavior: All the links should work all the time, even if the linked files are closed.

Hi m.a.riosv, I think we can marked this bug as RESOLVED. From what I could assess, the problem was in the referenced files I was trying to access using =’file:///Path & File Name’#$SheetName.CellName . Some of the cells in the referenced files were accessible after the file was closed, while others became #N/A. However, making new referenced files from scratch solves the problem.. Shouldn't have rushed reporting this "bug". Thanks anyway and all the best, Pedro
