related to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13995

When changing from X(by killing X) to vt with the clock frequency being wrong in X, it stays wrong in X.

If the bug above is fixed this shouldn't be an issue but a proper reset/reinitialization when changing to vt is always a good idea as it could solve many problems, but i don't know if it is feasible.. Maybe as an option for X..

I haven't tried a change from X to vt(ie ctrl+alt+F1) with broken display, so i don't know how that behaves, i will try and add.

is this still an issue with newer versions of the driver?

I no longer use this setup, and i'm not sure if i still have the card, i may still have the card and could probably assemble a computer from spare parts and give it a test.

It looks like i have to change the status, so i'm setting it to resolved/notabug.

I'm more than willing to test it out if you want me too though.
