Image for product ID. Scaled wrong by LibO Draw 3.5.2 when exported as EPS.

I created an image in Open Office Draw two or three years ago. I brought it into LibO Draw 3.4 and did some editing. When I export it as an EPS file (Encapsulated Postscript), either in LibO Draw 3.4 or LibO Draw 3.5.2, then look at it in GIMP and other EPS viewers, the image as viewed and printed is about 10% larger than it should be.

I have Open Office 3.3 on my computer, so I loaded the same image into OO Draw 3.3 and then exported it as an EPS file. When I view that file in GIMP, it is the correct size.

If I use LibO 3.4 or 3.5.2 to export the image as a PDF file, the image is correctly scaled and rendered using Adobe Reader to view the pdf.

When you export to EPS, you get to change EPS options. Did you make sure you are using the correct values?

I probably set the EPS options for the highest resolution. I'm sure I used the same settings when exporting from LibreOffice as I did from Open Office. LO screwed things up, OO did not. One problem was that LO caused the text "990c" to have the characters overlapping each other. The characters were not overlapping in the OO version. The OO version was correct. I had done some scaling of the spacing of the text. LO caused each character to be larger than it should be, and overlapping. So it was a combination of the entire image being larger than it should be, and the "990c" text characters overlapping each other.

Thank you.

I attached an example image with my original bug report. I just opened that file from the attachment section above using LO-Draw 4.0.0.3, then exported it as an EPS file. The image looks OK in LO-Draw, but I still get the same problems as described in my original bug report when I open that EPS file using GIMP 2.6.11. GIMP allowed me to set the resolution when opening it, so I set it for the maximum of 1440 DPI.

I then opened the example image file using OpenOffice Draw 3.4.1, then exported it as an EPS file. The image looks OK in OO-Draw, but I now get the same problems in OO-Draw 3.4.1 when I open that EPS file using GIMP 2.6.11.

One clear thing to note when viewing the image: There is the text "990c". The "c" should not overlap the "0". When the image is viewed in LO-Draw and OO-Draw, there is no overlap. When it is viewed in GIMP after being exported as an EPS file from either program, the "c" does overlap the "0". Also note that the "c" was created in a separate text box from the "990" text to allow a different font size (25 pt. vs. 28 pt.) and precise positioning of the letter "c" in relation to "990". I used the "Square 721" font.

The original image was created using an older version of OpenOffice, probably version 3.3.

What additional information do you need? Thank you.
