Is it just GIMPnet that its failing to browse rooms on? Or other IRC servers too? I don't know - I've not noticed any other "missing" rooms on e.g. Freenode, OFTC but on the other hand I'm not a very heavy IRC user. I think the problem is just IRC. I tried using two different IRC clients, erc in emacs and konversations and the listed channels didn't show up in the list with them either. I don't think telepathy can do anything about flaky servers. I will go forward my answer to polari and get their opinion though. |
