This is a feature of high-eng commercial screen magnifiers for Windows - see ZoomText at http://www.aisquared.com (you can download a demo of ZoomText 8.1 for Windows). This is commonly implemented by modifying the color lookup table, which is rather difficult in 32-bit mode... this can be implemented with compositing managers, but as such really isn't the domain of the X server or the low-level libraries. the appropriate place to do this support is in your desktop environment's compositing manager. |
