i can confirm this bug in a nVidia system with latest drivers. performance is
good, but menus and windows are covered by any OpenGL app.
Do you still experience this issue with a current release of xorg? Still experiencing (2), (1) seems to be ok now (xorg 7.0) Modifying this entry to reflect the cause of (2). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 5552 *** I don't think this is really a duplicate, reopening. http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/DirectRenderingToRedirectedWindows has a rough plan for fixing this. Work has started but will take a while, so don't hold your breath. |
