Is this still an issue with you with newer versions of xserver? If so, does the problem go away if you switch to a different kernel (doesn't matter which). I haven't used the hardware in question for 2-3 years :P I also think it's a bios bug of the laptop (HP Omnibook, can't recall the model, cba to dig it out of the closet). Something causes the keyboard controller to block, and Xorg doesn't handle that gracefully. I think this can be closed; it's not exactly bothering me now. |
