Description Conrad Meyer 2009-09-05 23:39:52 UTC
These LCDs have a problem where they cannot handle the full dotclock rate of "full" resolution (1600x1200, 24bit, 60Hz), so they need to use a reduced-blanking mode to reduce the dotclock, and then 1600x1200 works. Without this, the user sees constant blanking/flickering.

More information is available at [0] -- I own one of these monitors and have had to use a custom xorg.conf to force this modeline for quite a while. Need more info? Let me know.

P.S.: I don't know what component to attach this to, hopefully someone can help there. I am using xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.6.1.901-1.fc11.x86_64.
