(In reply to comment #0) > IBM 526 DAC support for s3 driver (John Hay) > http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=xfree86-devel&m=107843043004076&w=2 I ran into the same problem today. Went and fixed it by adding the DAC to the list defined in s3_driver.c. Later, came here and found this patch (identical!). The card is the Diamond Stealth64 VRAM card. I wanted a PCI card for Dual-Head and this one was a 4Meg card (with daughterboard). So far it works great (at 1400x1050x16bpp). allready applied to XORG-CURRENT branch on Thu Mar 4 20:29:36 2004 UTC, by kaleb and finally landed in trunk, as revision 1.2 programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/drivers/s3/s3_driver.c (revision 1.1.4.2) commit log: Add additional IBM RAMDACS to the s3 driver as reported by John Hay on xfree86-devel. Appears to be fixed in CVS. |
