I ran into the same problem today. Went and fixed it by adding the DAC to the
list defined in s3_driver.c. Later, came here and found this patch (identical!).
The card is the Diamond Stealth64 VRAM card. I wanted a PCI card for Dual-Head
and this one was a 4Meg card (with daughterboard). So far it works great (at
1400x1050x16bpp).
