I am not sure whether I understand reporter's problem. and can't see any blocker. @Rolf Gloor: You have unchecked 'Tools -> Options -> LibO -> General - Open/Save Dialogs - Use LibO dialogs? If yes, Please attach commented screenshots comparing WIN open/save dialog of LibO comparing it with dialogs from other programs. You are using XP? Created attachment 42165 [details]

And this is how RC3's open dialog looks for me on Windows 7.
@Rolf Gloor: Your report seems to be concerning dissatisfaction with WIN7 UI comparing it with WIN XP. That's nothing that can be fixed by LibO. (In reply to comment #2) > I am not sure whether I understand reporter's problem. and can't see any > blocker. > > @Rolf Gloor: > You have unchecked 'Tools -> Options -> LibO -> General - Open/Save Dialogs - > Use LibO dialogs? > If yes, Please attach commented screenshots comparing WIN open/save dialog of > LibO comparing it with dialogs from other programs. > You are using XP? @Rainer 1st: Sorry for the delayed response. I had a severe system crash. After my bug report, shuttin down machine, couldn't restart. Now from M$ Windows to Linux (openSUSE 11.3). Not yet all up but moving forward. Regarding Bug report: You're right on with your comment! I didn't now about this setting. Strange enough, when upgrading to RC3, it changed it all by itself. So all by a sudden having not access to all directories was aweful. SOLVED: So the basic complaint is solved. REMAINING: What remains is the question, WHY would it automatically change the setting? |
