hi,

here're steps to reproduce the problem:

- setup xorg dual screen desktop.
- on one desktop run opensource ioquake3. it switches to full screen
  and turns off the second screen.
- quit the game. the second display doesn't work (no signal on link).
- restart xorg and both screens are working again.

I suspect this is a bad interaction with the vidmode extension and randr.  quake should use randr.
