I have fixed the 8x8 compression mode in master. It should fix the bottom of the screen being uninitialized. Please test. Trying with "r300g: 8x8-compressed zbuffer can only be point-sampled" baf2a795eb357aaf33fdee166003fa38768cb193. Console prints: export RADEON_HYPERZ=y -> r300: AA compression: NO, Z compression: YES, HiZ: NO unset RADEON_HYPERZ -> r300: AA compression: NO, Z compression: NO, HiZ: NO The bottom zone seems fixed.
