Description Horst H. von Brand 2005-05-24 21:16:23 UTC
This is xorg-x11-6.8.2-31 on Fedora Core 4 test 3. Same sypmtoms on PC and on
x86_64.

When entering accented characters (e.g. รก) into xemacs-21.4.17-3, I get a error
message: "U00E1 not defined." The xemacs folks claim this to be an X bug, X
should send the proper key. To my complaint to the Fedora folks I got directed
to the xemacs people, which ended sending me here. Start of upstream thread is at
http://list-archive.xemacs.org/xemacs-beta/200505/msg00112.html

Still the same, Fedora rawhide, xorg-x11-6.8.2-54, xemacs-21.4.17-4

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
Comment 3 Jesse Adkins 2010-11-19 15:17:31 UTC
I'm not seeing this with xserver 1.9.0, Ubuntu 10.10, and Xemacs 21.4 patch 22. Closing this as fixed. Reopen if you're still seeing this bug.
