Being the user that originally reported that bug to empthy, I'd like to know what's the status. 10 days passed and there's no reaction from the team. Hi Dusan, Guillaume forwarded me your telepathy-gabble log. I tried to make up a test case based on the incoming XML in the log, and it seemed to work fine: contacts showed up on the contact list. So I'm a bit confused as to what's happening for you. Would you be able to get some more logs to help us debug this? In a terminal, run: dbus-monitor > /tmp/fd.o-34448-dbus-monitor.log Then start Empathy, and sign into Google Talk. Once Empathy thinks you're signed in (and you have confirmed that the contacts are not visible in the contact list even when View → Offline Contacts is enabled), press Control-C in the terminal to stop capturing D-Bus traffic. Then, email me the Gabble log (obtained from the Debug window as before) along with the dbus-monitor log saved in /tmp. Sorry to take so long to get back to you. :( -- GitLab Migration Automatic Message -- This bug has been migrated to freedesktop.org's GitLab instance and has been closed from further activity.
