This is probably a duplicate of bug 33929. You might try the xserver patch there. As for the CS rejections, it would be great if you could track down what app or event causes them. looks like openoffice is but not till a spreadsheet is opened doesn't look like a text document causes the issue I'll note for this that I do have git of cairo and pixman installed and cairo is being told to use the gl backend if it matters any I haven't tested the exa patch yet but I turned on colortiling and tried running some benchmarks including openarena with it and it worked for 10 seconds or so then the computer froze and rebooted itself it had been running the same benchmark set fine with it off I assume that exa patch wouldn't effect this issue in the least? should I file another bug on this as it might be mesa related instead?
