@Fred Strickland: May I ask you to read hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> carefully? Then please: - Write a meaningful Summary - Attach a sample document (not only screenshot) - Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show - Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem (and if possible how to created a sample document from the scratch) - add information -- what EXACTLY is unexpected. Not "it seems that it might that somehow" but "In Cell xy Number Format changed from Date to Currency " (or similar). -- and WHY do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!) -- concerning your PC -- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language) -- concerning your LibO version and localization (UI language) –- Libo settings that might be related to your problems (video hardware acceleration ...) -- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document –- If you can contribute an OOo Issue that might be useful -- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts Please attach your sample document here and contribute clear and explecit descriptions of your problem. No answer, so closed! @reporter: Please feel free to reopen this bug if you find out that the problem still exists with LibreOffice version 3.5 and if you can contribute requested additional information due to <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> (especially BugReport Details)! Created attachment 57125 [details]
The PDF attachment shows screen shots of an Excel spreadsheet before I used Libre and after I used Libre.
I have tried different LibreOffice builds (3.3 and 3.4) and the problem is present. There times when the behavior does not appear, but does the next day. As long as this problem exists, it prevents meaningful document sharing between Microsoft Office Excel users and LibreOffice Calc users.
Thank you,
Fred
@Fred Strickland We need a sample spreadsheet (the intact EXCEL document) Do you wish me to attach it to this e-mail message or provide it through another avenue? Also, who would be viewing it?
Thank you,
Fred
