Created attachment 55611 [details] full syslog with drm.debug=0x06 OS: Debian sid x86_64 Kernel: 3.2.0 X.Org X Server: 1.11.3.901 (1.11.4 RC 1) xf86-video-intel: 2.17.0 (using Debian package 2:2.17.0-1) libdrm: 2.4.30 (using Debian packages 2.4.30-1) Mesa: 8.0-devel custom build git revision 55bd1c8 Motherboard: Intel Desktop Board DH67GD Media Series Display connector: DisplayPort The game needs s3tc and I use the library txc-dxtn 1.0.1 to provide it. Trine menu loads fine until you select to start the game, then the screen blinks black for some moments until the screen goes black. Then I can access to virtual terminal with CTRL+Alt+F1 and then I can go back to the X session CTRL+Alt+F7 which shows the desktop, KDE, but the Kwin window manager crashed, and the X session is barely usable, so I have to go back to the virtual terminal. Restarting the X server doesn't help much, because the i915 kernel module crashed and for example composite doesn't work. With the same system setup but with a G965 chipset the game starts and works just fine. That's the output that I get if I ran Trine from a terminal: intel_do_flush_locked failed: Input/output error Got signal 11 at 0x9c27390 from 0x9c27390 ./trine-bin64[0x433a98] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpthread.so.0(+0xf020)[0x7f123a9c2020] [0x9c27390] And this from syslog: kernel: [ 317.734618] [drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed] *ERROR* Hangcheck timer elapsed... GPU hung kernel: [ 317.734628] [drm] capturing error event; look for more information in /debug/dri/0/i915_error_state kernel: [ 317.737347] [drm:i915_wait_request] *ERROR* i915_wait_request returns -11 (awaiting 78541 at 78539, next 78542) Also I attach a full syslog with drm.debug=0x06 On Xorg.log there isn't anything special only: [ 259.516] [dix] Unknown event type 35. No filter Also I don't have xorg.conf.
