I snooped through the xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/common directory. In particular, xf86pciBus.c. I think this is where the problem may reside. I'm studying how X allocates the resources. It seems to poll all the pci devices. I don't see myself coming up with a solution at anytime within the near future. It's alot of code to absorb. thanks (In reply to comment #1) > Are these worrisome? > > > (WW) RADEON: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:1:0:1) found > > (WW) ****INVALID IO ALLOCATION**** b: 0xc000 e: 0xc100 correcting > > DDC reports analog input whereas the driver decides to use the DVI connector: > > > (II) RADEON(0): Primary: > > Monitor -- CRT > > Connector -- DVI-I > > Please post your xorg.conf. I've fixed this I think. It was a missing return TRUE in RADEONSetupMemXAA(). |
