Empathy version 3.2.1.1, Telepathy-Gabble  version 0.13.7 .

Telepathy-Gabble does not connect to my corporate server . From the debug log I've narrowed this down to

connector_error_disconnect (connection.c:1699): connection failed: WOCKY_AUTH_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED (#1): Server doesn't have any sasl mechanisms

However, I can connect just fine with other clients, like Pidgin, and my other colleagues connect using a variety of clients ( iChat for instance ).

I am willing to help troubleshoot this issue, but I'm not sure where to start from.

Thanks for your bug report. We'll need more information to debug the problem though. Could you attach the complete debug log please? If you think it has personal information in it (it shouldn't), feel free to email it to me personally.

Can you please change the log to "gabble" and post that log, instead of the "mission-control" log you posted? Thanks!

Now running telepathy-gabble 0.16.4 and it still does not work. However, I've found that there was a similar issue opened for Adium

http://trac.adium.im/ticket/16081

which contains lots of debug information and also a fix for libpurple. 

I've removed the needinfo status since this should be enough information to determine the root cause. Please let me know if you need anything else.
