The mouse pointer is randomly reset to the top-left corner when the Synaptics driver is used with XINPUT ABI >= 14.

The patch from commit id 7c0361d4ec6b1f1325cb6551d0ee2e7f5cfae15b fixes the issue:

It should probably trigger a new release (unless you want to also get https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47654 fixed first).
