Hello,

Firstly, thank you for developing these open-source drivers!

I'm part of the Cairo-Dock [1] team and many users have visual problem when using the OpenGL backend: icons disappear.

All these users have an Intel 4000 HD Ivy-Bridge video card.

This bug has already been reported to Mesa devs (6 months ago) but this bug has still not been fixed: bug #55036 => https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55036

I report this bug here because it's maybe not due to i965 Mesa drivers.
How can we help to debug the problem and how to know where the problem comes from?

It looks to be just a bug in mesa/i965. With LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 it renders fine. I can't see anything to change in the ddx to help. Maybe they would like an apitrace to narrow down the bug with?
